Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions outline the necessary requirements and guidelines for participants in the GLAMIFAME International Indian Pageant Contest:

Eligibility:
– Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 18 years old to enter any category.
– Miss Category: Participants should not have been married or borne a child.
– Mrs Category: Must be married; however, singles are also welcome to apply.
– Mr Category: Open to anyone 18 years or older, regardless of marital status.

Registration:
– Registration is officially acknowledged only after the submission of the required fee and additional documents as stipulated in the Pageant Guidelines.
– A non-refundable registration fee of Rs.500 is applied to all participants.

Finalist Participation Fee:
– Participants can receive a 50% refund of the participation fees if they withdraw at least 10 days before the start of the registered season.
– For wild card participants and those who register within 10 days of the Pageant Season’s due date, the fees are non-refundable.

Conduct:
– Participants are expected to uphold a high standard of behavior during the pageant.
– An active social media presence might be a requirement, reflecting the pageant’s values and community engagement ethos.

Pageant Rounds:

1. Preliminary Round:
– Categories: Introduction and talent show competitions for Mr, Ms, and Mrs categories.
– Objective: Showcase personal talents and make a strong first impression.

2. Semifinal Round:
– Advancement: Top contestants from the preliminary round proceed.
– Focus: Highlight fitness and purpose, aiming to earn the title of Beauty and Man with a Purpose.

3. Final Round:
– Segments: Evening cocktail dress-up, swimsuit, and interview rounds to display elegance and articulate skills.

Judging Criteria:

– Beauty: Evaluates physical demeanor, elegance, and adherence to etiquette.
– Intelligence: Assesses communication, knowledge, and ability to maintain composure under pressure.
– Personality: Judges on charisma, confidence, and how well contestants engage the audience.
– Talent: Considers performance abilities such as singing, dancing, or acting.
– Social Responsibility: Looks at participants’ commitment to community involvement and advocacy for social causes.

Note: ‘The Judges’ decision is final and fair, with no negotiation or discussion permitted thereafter.

Prizes and Awards:

– Winners:
– Rewards include cash prizes, crowns, trophies, sashes, and other prestigious accolades.

– Runners-up:
– Recipients receive crowns, trophies, gifts, and public recognition for their accomplishments.

– All Finalists:
– Granted titles and gifts to commend their participation and effort throughout the competition.

Additional Rules:

– Dress Code:
– Participants must adhere to the prescribed attire for each segment to maintain uniformity and elegance.

– Behavior:
– Contestants are required to maintain respect toward others, including fellow participants, judges, and event staff.

– Photography and Media:
– The organizers hold the rights to capture images and video of participants for promotional and marketing functionalities.

– Disqualification:
– Any rule infringements or inappropriate behavior may result in disqualification. It’s crucial to note that if disqualified, participants will not receive a refund of any amount. This measure ensures a fair competition environment and adherence to the stated guidelines.

Legal Compliance:
1. False Defamation: Any participant found guilty of defamation can face hefty fines or legal action under Section 499 of the Penal Code.
2. Harm to Individuals: Causing harm to pageant individuals or fellow participants can lead to penalties under Section 323 – punishment for voluntarily causing hurt.
3. Damage to Property: Vandalism or damage to pageant property can lead to fines or imprisonment under Section 427.
4. False Claims: Making false claims is punishable under Section 415 of the Penal Code for cheating.

– GLAMIFAME is not responsible for any incidents involving the lives of participants that are not indicated in their registration form or public profile.

By participating in the pageant, you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions. Non-compliance may result in penalties, disqualification, or legal action as applicable.
